Nevada Family Psychiatry is a welcoming and inclusive mental health practice located in downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas. Founded in 2004 by Physician Assistant (PA) and Doctor of Health Science provider James “Jay” Somers, PA-C, DHSc, the practice provides thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care to children (ages 5+), adolescents, and adults. We are proud to serve individuals from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ communities and those with diverse spiritual, religious, or secular perspectives. Jay Somers is a nationally certified PA licensed in Nevada since 2000, with over 27 years of clinical experience in psychiatry. He brings a warm, personalized, and integrative approach to care that emphasizes the whole person, not just symptoms.
