Want a strength class that skips the high-impact jumps? PVOLVE is planning a studio at Boca Park in Summerlin, with a reported December opening target. Its 50-minute classes combine resistance work with mobility and stability exercises, giving west-side residents another format to consider when choosing a workout.

The studio is planned for 8740 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 11. PVOLVE has not announced an exact opening day, class calendar, instructor roster, or local prices, so residents should treat December as a target rather than a confirmed launch date.

At a glance

  • Location: Boca Park, 8740 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 11
  • Opening: December target; exact date not announced
  • Class length: 50 minutes
  • Still pending: Schedule, instructors, and rates

What PVOLVE classes involve

PVOLVE describes its method as functional weight training and sculpt. Instead of offering one style of class, the company lists several formats that vary in focus and pace.

SCULPT uses resistance tools and low-impact movements to work on strength, mobility, and stability. SCULPT: CARDIO adds cardio intervals to that approach.

WEIGHT TRAINING combines heavier weights with functional movements. SCULPT: CORE focuses on core work using mats and PVOLVE’s movement method.

Those labels give prospective members a general idea of each session, but the local studio has not yet posted a schedule or instructor details. Class descriptions also can’t tell you exactly how difficult a workout will feel; pace, resistance, coaching, and personal experience all matter.

If you are deciding between formats, consider what you want from a class. Someone seeking a focused core session may look at SCULPT: CORE, while someone who enjoys intervals may be more interested in SCULPT: CARDIO. A first-timer can ask the studio which class is a sensible place to start.

A new option for Boca Park and the west side

The address places PVOLVE in Boca Park near Rampart Boulevard, a retail and dining center many west Las Vegas residents already visit. A nearby studio can make it easier to fit exercise into a routine, especially if the eventual class times work with errands, work, or school pickup.

That convenience is not guaranteed by the address alone. Parking, class capacity, booking windows, and the final timetable will shape how practical the location is during busy hours. PVOLVE has not released those details for the Summerlin studio.

This would be PVOLVE’s first location in the Las Vegas Valley. Franchisee Jennifer LaFrance mentioned in a report that the company also plans a Henderson studio, expected in the first half of 2027. That is a separate project and does not change the Summerlin location’s reported December target.

WVS has also covered BODYROK’s planned Downtown Summerlin studio. The two businesses have different locations and workout formats. Once both publish schedules and rates, residents will have more concrete information to compare than brand descriptions alone.

What to confirm before booking

Before planning a first visit, check for the details that affect the experience:

Opening date: The December target comes from local reporting; PVOLVE has not posted a specific day.

Class schedule: Session times and instructor information for Boca Park are still pending.

Cost: Local membership and drop-in rates have not been announced.

Equipment and preparation: Ask whether mats or resistance tools are provided and whether newcomers should arrive early for an orientation.

Modifications: If you have not taken a resistance-based class before, ask what options instructors offer for different experience levels. That can help you choose a class with a pace and movement style that feels manageable.

These are routine questions for a new studio; they help customers understand what a visit will involve before committing to a membership or booking a class.

The studio is announced, but opening and booking details are still developing. PVOLVE’s official Summerlin studio page currently says “Coming Soon” and offers an email sign-up for updates.

For now, the useful confirmed details are the Boca Park address, the class formats PVOLVE lists, and a December opening target. WVS will update this guide when the company confirms its opening date or posts local booking information.

The SCULPT: CARDIO option sounds more my speed than a core-only class. I hope they offer a beginner session so people can try the different formats.

SCULPT: CARDIO could be a good fit if you enjoy intervals! The Summerlin schedule hasn’t been posted yet, so we’ll have to wait to see whether a beginner session is offered.

Love the idea of strength classes without all the jumping. Boca Park is close enough that I could actually fit a 50-minute class into my week.
