New Italian Restaurant Brings Wood-Fired Pizza to West Valley This Weekend |
Family-owned Bella Vita Italian Kitchen opens Saturday with authentic recipes passed down three generations |
A new Italian restaurant is opening in West Valley this weekend, and it's bringing something the neighborhood has been asking for.
Bella Vita Italian Kitchen opens Saturday at 9850 West Charleston Boulevard with wood-fired pizza, homemade pasta, and recipes that owner Maria Romano learned from her grandmother in Naples.
Family Recipes Meet West Valley
The Romano family moved to Las Vegas three years ago from New York, where they ran a neighborhood pizzeria for 22 years.
Maria says they chose West Valley because it reminded them of their old neighborhoodâcommunity-focused, family-friendly, and full of people who appreciate good food.
"We wanted to bring real Italian food to an area that deserves it," Maria said. "Not fast-casual chains, but the kind of food you'd eat at a family table in Italy."
What's on the Menu
The menu features 12 wood-fired pizzas, all made with dough that ferments for 48 hours before baking.
They're also serving house-made pasta, including traditional dishes like cacio e pepe, carbonara, and Sunday gravy with meatballs.
Everything is made from scratch daily, from the mozzarella to the marinara sauce.
Why This Matters for West Valley
West Valley has plenty of chain restaurants, but locally-owned spots with authentic cuisine are harder to find.
That's what makes Bella Vita different.
It's the kind of place where the owner knows your name, remembers what you ordered last time, and treats every table like family.
For residents tired of driving to Summerlin or Henderson for quality Italian food, this is a welcome addition.
Grand Opening Weekend Specials
Bella Vita is celebrating opening weekend with 20% off all food orders Saturday and Sunday.
They're also offering a free appetizer with any pizza or pasta entree purchase.
The restaurant seats 65 people inside and has a small patio for outdoor dining.
Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Mondays.
Reservations are recommended for dinner service and can be made by calling the restaurant directly. |
