Las Vegas Is Serving: Food Events From Summerlin to the Strip |
Block parties, pink brunches, new coffee spots and enough cocktails to make staying home feel downright irresponsible. |

The culinary scene across Las Vegas and Summerlin is heating up and thankfully, we’re talking about the kind that involves cocktails instead of another 110° afternoon.
From major foodie festivals and Summerlin block parties to pink brunches and new restaurants, here’s what Vegas locals should have on their radar.
COMING SOON: DRINK LAS VEGAS
September 24–27 | Las Vegas
This inaugural food and drink festival is bringing some serious culinary firepower to Vegas, with tastings, cocktails, parties and experiences happening throughout the weekend.
Timeless Taste at ARIA September 26
Michael Mina, Masaharu Morimoto and Wolfgang Puck are among the names attached to this signature event. Translation: this isn’t your neighborhood potluck.

SUMMERLIN’S NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
August 1 | 1–4 PM | The Resort at Summerlin
This one belongs near the TOP because it’s timely and actually in your backyard.
The Neighborhood Food Hall Community Block Party turns The Resort at Summerlin into one big tasting party, with a passport to sample dishes from participating restaurants while supporting Project 150.
NEW AROUND VEGAS: MERÁKI GREEK GRILL
SOULBELLY BBQ HITS THE STRIP
SoulBelly BBQ is bringing the smoke to Miracle Mile Shops, which means tourists aren’t the only ones with a reason to venture onto Las Vegas Boulevard.
Brisket > fighting Strip traffic.
Hopefully.
STG BAR & GRILL OPENS AT SAM’S TOWN
Another new Vegas dining option has entered the chat. STG Bar & Grill brings classic American comfort food to Sam’s Town.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT TODO BIEN
Because apparently Las Vegas looked at July and thought, you know what this needs? Christmas. Todo Bien at UnCommons has transformed into a tropical holiday escape with festive cocktails and enough Christmas meets Caribbean energy to make you temporarily forget your steering wheel is 147 degrees.
TIKI TIME AT FLANKER
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar at Mandalay Bay is getting tropical with its summer Mai Tai experience.
Think island inspired drinks and tiki vibes without having to explain to your boss why you suddenly booked a flight to Maui.
PINK BRUNCH AT LA MONA ROSA
Fremont East is getting pink. La Mona Rosa’s Pink Brunch brings together Mexican inspired brunch dishes, cocktails and a whole lot of yes, we’re taking pictures before anyone touches the food.
SUMMER IN ITALY AT FERRARO’S
No passport. No 11 hour flight. And thankfully, no middle seat. Ferraro’s Summer in Italy prix fixe menu brings a four course Italian experience to Las Vegas through August 23.
BETTER BUZZ KEEPS BUZZING AROUND VEGAS
Better Buzz Coffee continues expanding around the Las Vegas Valley, including Summerlin, giving West Valley caffeine addicts another excuse to say, “I’m just running out for coffee.”
We all know you’re coming back with a $7 drink.
AND VEGAS ISN’T DONE YET…
More restaurant openings, chef collaborations, seasonal pop ups and under the radar food experiences are already appearing around the Valley. So whether you’re hunting for your next Summerlin date night, a boozy Vegas brunch or an excuse to eat your way across town, there’s plenty happening. Elastic waist pants encouraged. Judgment not included. |

Drink Las Vegas with Morimoto and Wolfgang Puck sounds incredible but I am guessing the tickets are not cheap. Anyone know the price range?
Ticket pricing wasn't something we had specifics on at time of publishing, so your best bet is checking directly through the Drink Las Vegas link in the article for the most current options and tiers.
Robert NguyenI looked it up a few weeks ago and the signature events were running a couple hundred per person if I remember right. Not cheap but for those chefs it's probably not surprising.
Another Better Buzz in Summerlin is great news. The one on Sahara always has a line out the door.
westsidemom_KimThe line at that Sahara location is no joke. Showed up at 7am once and still waited 15 minutes. A second location out here is long overdue.
The Summerlin expansion is definitely a win for the West Valley crowd, hopefully a little extra capacity means slightly shorter lines, though we're not making any promises!
Ferraro's Summer in Italy menu is worth every penny. Went there last year and the food is amazing. Four courses and you leave very happy.
Dave T.Totally agree. My husband and I went for their Valentine's dinner a couple years back and still talk about it. The pasta alone was worth it.
Christmas in July at Todo Bien sounds fun but it is literally already 112 degrees outside. Not sure I can pretend it is December right now lol.
Carol SimmonsThat's kind of the point though lol. You sit inside the AC, sip a frozen holiday cocktail, and pretend the outside world doesn't exist. Honestly sounds perfect for July.
Meraki Greek Grill is great but I wish they had opened somewhere other than Downtown. Hard to get to from the west side.
That's totally fair feedback, and hopefully the Downtown expansion is a sign that Meráki is growing, more Valley locations may not be too far off!
The Pink Brunch at La Mona Rosa looks so cute. Definitely dragging my girlfriends to this one.
It really does look like the perfect excuse for a girls' brunch, just warn everyone in advance that no, you cannot eat until photos are taken. 😂
SoulBelly on the Strip is big news. That brisket is no joke. Worth fighting the traffic for sure.
Glad someone else is willing to brave Las Vegas Boulevard for great brisket, the Miracle Mile Shops location should make it at least slightly more tolerable than circling the Strip for parking. 😂
Mike DelgadoAgreed, the original location is so good. Curious if the Strip version keeps the same quality or if it gets watered down for the tourist crowd. Fingers crossed.
Already got my tickets for the Summerlin block party. Supporting Project 150 while eating good food is a win win.
