Resort at Summerlin Casino Expansion Debuts With Elyx Bar |
Summerlin casino renovation adds 107 machines, a new bar and refreshed VIP lounge |
The Resort at Summerlin has opened the latest phase of its $75 million renovation, giving west valley locals a bigger casino floor, a new central bar and an upgraded VIP lounge.
The expansion adds more than 3,000 square feet to the casino at 221 North Rampart Boulevard and brings 107 additional gaming machines into the mix.
For regulars, the changes are more than cosmetic.
The project reshapes some of the resort's most-used gaming and gathering spaces while continuing a broader property overhaul that has been unfolding across dining, entertainment and guest areas.
One of the most visible additions is Elyx Bar, which replaces the former Summerlin Bar in the heart of the casino.
The new space was developed in partnership with Absolut Vodka and combines a contemporary look with new bar-top gaming machines and a menu of signature cocktails.
That central location makes Elyx Bar less of a tucked-away lounge and more of an anchor for the refreshed casino floor.
The resort has also relocated and expanded the Summerlin Room, its VIP casino lounge for qualifying Rampart Rewards members.
The lounge now occupies the former Clubhouse Deli space, with a larger footprint, added privacy and a more modern atmosphere.
It is open daily from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Summerlin, Summerlin Premier and Summerlin Elite cardholders.
For locals who already use the property as a neighborhood casino, the changes make the renovation particularly noticeable.
The expanded gaming area officially debuted October 6, 2026, with a grand-opening promotion that included cake, champagne and a $10,000 free-slot-play drawing for Rampart Rewards members.
That opening celebration has passed, but the new casino space, Elyx Bar and Summerlin Room are now part of the everyday resort experience.
The casino itself spans about 63,000 square feet and now lists 1,777 slot machines, along with 31 table games, a 300-seat bingo room, high-limit gaming rooms and a Caesars Race & Sportsbook.
The work fits into a much larger transformation of the property, which entered 2026 under the unified The Resort at Summerlin identity.
That rebrand and renovation have also brought changes to dining and entertainment, including an expanded collection of restaurants and bars across the resort.
For Summerlin residents, the significance is straightforward: a long-established neighborhood resort is investing heavily in keeping more dining, gaming and entertainment options close to home.
The latest casino expansion is another visible piece of that strategy.
Instead of a single splashy remodel, the property has been rolling out new spaces in stages, giving returning guests something different to encounter as the broader renovation continues.
The new Elyx Bar and Summerlin Room are already open, making this one of the renovation phases locals can experience now rather than wait for. |

I used to meet friends at the Summerlin Bar before bingo. It’ll be strange seeing a new bar there, but I’m glad they kept that central spot.
Does anyone know if the Summerlin Room has the same food options now that it’s in the old Clubhouse Deli space?
Kim R.I haven’t heard if the food changed. I’m hoping they kept some of the old deli options.
Another 107 machines seems like a lot. I hope the bigger floor still leaves enough room to walk around comfortably.
Elyx Bar sounds like a nice change from the old Summerlin Bar. I’ll probably stop by and see how the new space feels.
