Mark Rich’s New York Pizza & Pasta is reported to be planning a comeback at 1930 Rock Springs Drive in Rock Springs Plaza.
The location sits near Summerlin, Desert Shores and Pioneer Park, giving west-valley diners a familiar restaurant story to follow.
Founder Mark Rich launched the brand in 1994 and operated Las Vegas Valley restaurants for roughly 28 years.
Former locations were known for hand-tossed thin-crust pizza, Sicilian-style pies and traditional pasta dishes.
A firm opening date, current menu, hours and ordering information have not been announced.
Residents should treat the reported late-2026 or early-2027 window as an estimate and watch for permits, signage and an official opening notice before visiting. Read More... |

JE | Jen_72 · 3 days ago Calling it a Summerlin comeback feels a little off since the plaza isn't in Summerlin. Still, it's close enough for me to try it.

WEST VALLEY / WEEKLY 🌿 Mindful Minute MAKE ROOM FOR ONE UNRUSHED STOP.
A full weekend does not have to feel like a race between errands. Choose one place to slow down—a quiet walk through Downtown Summerlin, a few minutes at the farmers market, or time to take in the lights and music at Springs Preserve.
Try this: Put your phone away for the first five minutes. Notice what you can hear, what catches your eye, and how your shoulders feel when you are not checking the next thing.
🌱 Tiny takeaway: One unrushed local moment can reset the rest of the day. |
WEST VALLEY / WEEKLY ✨ The Beauty Drop A FIVE-MINUTE RESET BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT.
Summerlin’s fall days can move from warm afternoons to cooler evenings, so keep the routine simple before the farmers market, a theater matinee, or an evening at Springs Preserve.
Start with moisture. Use a gentle moisturizer and lip balm, then keep broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher in the rotation. The American Academy of Dermatology’s sunscreen guide covers the basics.
For a simple, no-fuss option, try a moisturizing cream after washing your face or hands. It is an easy bag or bathroom-counter staple when the air starts feeling a little drier.
Pack for the pivot. A hair tie, water, and tinted balm can handle the shift from daytime plans to dinner without a full restart.
✨ The takeaway: Keep it easy, stay comfortable, and save your energy for the neighborhood plans. |
