Glenbrook, Nevada, perched on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe, stands out as the state’s most expensive ZIP code, with median home values nearing $3 million.

Recent sales reinforce its exclusivity: a 4-bedroom home recently fetched $3.6 million, while a palatial 45,000-square-foot estate is on the market for $188 million.

This secluded enclave offers private lake access, close proximity to premier ski resorts, and an escape from bustling city life.

Such unmatched privacy and scenic beauty consistently attract affluent buyers looking for luxurious retreats or permanent residences.

Though median values have dipped 3.9% over the past year, demand remains high due to limited inventory and Glenbrook’s coveted lakeside setting.

For discerning buyers, Glenbrook combines prestige, natural splendor, and strong community, making 89413 a truly prized address.

Las Vegas is facing a sharp decline in tourism, with both visitor numbers and hotel occupancy rates falling significantly in recent months.

September 2025 saw just 3.1 million visitors — an 8.8% drop from last year — while conventions experienced an even steeper decrease of 18.7%.

Officials link the downturn to a lack of major events and changes in key convention schedules, with hotel occupancy down 5.2% and daily room rates sliding 2.9%.

Efforts like the “Welcome to Fabulous” campaign feature eye-catching ads and online deals, but overall revenues and airport traffic continue to decline.

Local complaints about soaring costs and fewer international travelers paint a picture of ongoing struggle for local businesses.

New attractions and developments bring hope, but Las Vegas faces a crucial test in restoring its iconic tourism appeal.

🐾 Meet Brandi ♥️ The Handsome Gentleman with the Fun Aunt Name 🥂

Okay, let’s address it right away, yes, his name is Brandi, and yes, he knows that sounds like something your fun aunt orders at brunch with extra ice and zero shame. But this 10 year old, 74 pound hunk is all gentleman, no mimosa needed.

Brandi’s the type who keeps things classy. He’s fully potty trained, walks politely on a leash, and melts for a good head scratch. He might be a little bashful at first, but toss him a treat and a few pets, and his tail turns into a full on helicopter of happiness.

He’s just looking for someone who appreciates a mature guy who’s chill, loyal, and totally over the puppy drama. All he wants is a comfy bed, a snack stash, and a human to love him through his golden years.

✨ Brandi is available for foster or adoption

🐱 Tiny But Mighty: Lunchable’s Glow-Up Story 🧡

Okay, y’all! meet Lunchable, the tiniest comeback story in town. When this scruffy little dude first rolled into The Animal Foundation, he looked like he’d just come back from a week long camping trip without the tent. Grungy, underweight, and… let’s be real, covered in some mystery goo that definitely wasn’t cheese.

But after a few bubble baths, bottle feedings, and serious love from the kitten nursery team, Lunchable’s living his best life, clean, cozy, and cuddled up with his emotional support llama (yes, really).

Now he’s growing big and strong in a foster home, gearing up for his grand debut as someone’s new favorite couch buddy.

Here’s the scoop: the kitten nursery is overflowing with babies like Lunchable who need a temporary place to crash while they grow. The Animal Foundation’s asking locals to step up as kitten fosters, and trust us, your heart will thank you for it.

🐱 Stop by the foster desk inside the low cost clinic to sign up.

Because honestly… who doesn’t want to say, “Yeah, I once raised a Lunchable”? 😍

💔 They Once Had Homes. Now, They’re Just Hoping for Another Chance.

Zeus, Gus Gus, Bowser, and Lola. They all had families once. Soft beds. Wagging tails. Names spoken with love. But now? They’re waiting behind shelter gates, wondering if anyone’s coming back.

The hard truth? Only 1 in 5 shelter pets are ever reunited with their owners. The rest sit in overcrowded kennels, victims of a heartbreaking space crisis at The Animal Foundation right here in the Valley.

What they need most right now are fosters and adopters for medium and large dogs, pups over 6 months old and 35 pounds who just need a second shot at love.

You don’t need an appointment, a fancy form, or even a plan, just walk in during open hours, meet a few wagging tails, and maybe walk out with your new best friend.

🏆 The Family Who Gave Flex His Second Chance! 🐶

You know how some people say, “Don’t meet your heroes”? Well, we did, and his name is Flex. But today’s real heroes? The amazing humans who dropped everything back in August to bring this 11 year old legend home.

When we put out a last-minute call for help, these folks didn’t hesitate. No “We’ll think about it.” No “Maybe next weekend.” They just grabbed the keys, hopped in the car, and headed straight to the shelter like they were rescuing a rockstar because, honestly, they were.

Now, Flex is living the dream, daily adventures, cozy naps, and a toy stash that looks like it belongs in Petco’s VIP section. His tail hasn’t stopped wagging since.

“He’s such a great pup,” they told us, smiling ear to ear. Translation: they’re completely smitten, and Flex knows it.

So here’s to the people who show up, who open their homes, their hearts, and their backseats for dogs like Flex. You didn’t just save a senior pup; you reminded all of us what community love really looks like.
