Trivia Question❓

If you grew up in Summerlin during the early 2000s, which movie theater was the go-to spot for Friday night plans?

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook Summerlin South, Nevada, Thursday afternoon, sending tremors across the Las Vegas Valley.

The quake struck at 1:47 p.m., with the epicenter about seven miles northwest of Summerlin South at a depth of four miles.

Initially measured at 4.1, the number was adjusted to 3.8 by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Shaking was felt in Summerlin, Henderson, and throughout the wider Las Vegas metropolitan area.

More than 2,500 residents reported weak to light shaking to the USGS, though no damage or injuries were reported.

Seismologists explain that quakes of this strength are often felt but rarely cause major harm.

While such events aren’t rare in Las Vegas, larger earthquakes remain infrequent.

Locals are reminded to stay prepared and informed about earthquake safety protocols.

Our goal is simple: help great businesses get more visibility, attract more customers, and grow their profits.

We regularly feature local businesses in the community and share simple marketing, advertising, and AI strategies that can help owners grow faster in today’s world.

Because when local businesses thrive, the entire Summerlin community gets stronger.

Las Vegas food lovers can look forward to a true taste of Philly as Everything Philly & Co. prepares to open in Summerlin South.

This new takeout spot will serve up authentic cheesesteaks and classic East Coast favorites from its base inside the Summerlin South Takeout ghost kitchen on Rainbow Blvd.

Owners Rande and Cory Dunmore, proud West Philadelphia natives, moved to Las Vegas just months ago to make their culinary dream a reality.

Opting for a ghost kitchen over a food truck, they’re offering locals a menu that includes water ice, pizza pretzels, $1 jumbo shrimp, $0.75 wings, and homemade lemonade.

The Dunmores aim to deliver a genuine Philly experience, hoping their dishes become local favorites.

Everything Philly & Co. is set to open this spring within a vibrant food hub already home to more than 20 brands.

💡 Answer to Trivia Question:

Before Downtown Summerlin became the go-to gathering place, many Summerlin teens spent their Friday nights at Regal Village Square. Between blockbuster movies, nearby restaurants, and meeting up with friends, it was one of the West Valley's most popular hangouts in the late '90s and early 2000s.
