A Las Vegas man is raising concerns after a sudden bee attack at a Summerlin park left neighbors unsettled.
Authorities are now tying the incident to Africanized honey bees, also known as “killer bees.”
This aggressive species is notorious for launching large-scale attacks if provoked, putting unsuspecting locals at greater risk during outdoor activities.
Experts caution that this may just be the start.
Pest control professionals note that encounters with these bees often surge in warmer months, raising alarm as temperatures climb in the valley.
Unlike typical bees, killer bees are faster to defend their hives and may chase people farther, transforming an ordinary park visit into an alarming ordeal. Read More... |

One of my favorite restaurants for the last 20 years has always been Outback Steakhouse. Besides the Bloomin’ One was the Alice Springs Chicken - which I STILL order today. The other was something they discontinued over 10 years ago called the “Walhalla Pasta.” 😭 Well… somehow I stumbled across the original recipe online recently and decided to make it at home. And honestly? It came out PERFECT. 🤯
Brought back so many memories from back in the day, so I figured I’d share the recipe with you guys too. ---------------------------------------------- Danny Chanen, Outback Steakhouse List of Ingredients:
Recipe: Bring the ingredients for the alfredo sauce to a boil in a pan. Add vegetables and pasta to pan. Mix and bring mixture back to a boil. Once pasta is cooked aldante, plate and serve with chicken. |
💡 Answer to Trivia Question: “The road to nowhere.” When the four‑mile Summerlin Parkway opened from Rainbow to Town Center in 1990 as Southern Nevada’s first three‑level interchange, locals called it “the road to nowhere” because there was almost nothing built out there yet. |
