The gourmet hot sauce I'll absolutely use someday part is too real. My pantry is a graveyard of good intentions.
- PatV_VegasAug 3, 2026
Agreed, the southwest side has needed something like this for a while. Feels like these pop ups are finally starting to fill the gap.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorAug 2, 2026
That's exactly why we wanted to spotlight this one, with 50+ local small businesses, live music, and neighbors all in one spot, it's the kind of night that reminds you there's so much more to the west valley than people realize.
- marisol_87Aug 2, 2026
This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes the west side feel like a real community. More of this please.
- Greg L.Jul 31, 2026
Skeptical it won't be too crowded and hot even at 6:30. July in Vegas is no joke even at night.
- Sandra K.Jul 29, 2026
I looked it up a few weeks ago and the signature events were running a couple hundred per person if I remember right. Not cheap but for those chefs it's probably not surprising.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
You're definitely not alone in noticing that — organizers themselves pointed to a genuine uptick in holistic health offerings across Summerlin as more studios open to meet growing demand!
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
That's such a generous impulse — while we aren't naming the specific nonprofit here, reaching out directly to the wellness studio organizing the event would be your best path to connecting with them for an independent donation.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
Thank you for sharing that — it's a powerful reminder of exactly why this nonprofit focuses on making sure Clark County kids walk into classrooms with brand new shoes and socks, not just school supplies.
- desertdawn_nvJul 29, 2026
Ha, fair point. But honestly even if half the crowd is just there for the IV drip deals, the donations still add up. I'll take it either way.
- vegasnative22Jul 29, 2026
Right?! I counted like three new ones just on my usual drive. Honestly not mad about it, beats another empty retail space sitting there.
- Jenna_SummerlinJul 29, 2026
This is a really important reminder. It's easy to overlook how much something like a decent pair of sneakers can affect a kid's confidence on the first day. Thanks for sharing that.
- tommy_b_702Jul 29, 2026
I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone from the studio sees this and chimes in. Might be worth calling them directly before the event date.
- Amanda TranJul 29, 2026
Vendors can still sign up? Might look into that for my candle business. Finally something close to home.
- carla_nmendezJul 29, 2026
Does anyone know which nonprofit it is? Would love to donate even if I can't make it to the event.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
That's precisely the thinking behind it — as the article highlights, the gift card approach shifts the focus from simply giving to genuinely empowering families with flexibility as they prepare for the school year.
- RogerD_89Jul 29, 2026
Clark County kids getting new shoes and socks is the real win here. My nephew started school last year without proper sneakers, it matters more than people realize.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
We'd say the 'win-win' spirit the organizers are championing is the whole point — the discounted wellness services are designed to draw people in, with the hope that community giving naturally follows!
- Melissa TranJul 29, 2026
I live right off Summerlin Pkwy and the amount of wellness studios that have popped up in the last year is wild. Not complaining though!
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 29, 2026
That's what we're here for — thank you for reading and for caring about the details that matter.
- DebbieFromDowntownJul 29, 2026
Right? It's easy to just scroll past this kind of thing. Glad people are still reading closely.
- MarcusT_hereJul 29, 2026
Welcome to the area! Yeah unfortunately this kind of thing pops up pretty regularly around here.
- skeptical_steve_lvJul 28, 2026
Half off IV therapy sounds nice but let's be real, how many people are actually showing up for the school supply part lol
- PatriciaW_LVJul 28, 2026
Totally agree. Last year I donated a bag of school supplies and honestly had no idea if any of it was actually useful. Gift cards just make so much more sense for the families.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 28, 2026
The Summerlin expansion is definitely a win for the West Valley crowd, hopefully a little extra capacity means slightly shorter lines, though we're not making any promises!
- Derek V.Jul 28, 2026
The line at that Sahara location is no joke. Showed up at 7am once and still waited 15 minutes. A second location out here is long overdue.
- Dana K.Jul 28, 2026
Love this idea! Gift cards are so much better than random donations tbh, families can actually get what their kids need.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 28, 2026
Ticket pricing wasn't something we had specifics on at time of publishing, so your best bet is checking directly through the Drink Las Vegas link in the article for the most current options and tiers.
- chris_notfromhereJul 28, 2026
Just moved to the area and already seeing things like this
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 28, 2026
That's actually one of the reasons we felt this needed wider coverage — awareness really does make a difference.
- westsidemike_Jul 28, 2026
First permanent Nevada location and they went with Summerlin over the strip? Bold move but honestly probably the right one for a store like this
- Doris WhitmanJul 28, 2026
my husband laughed when I mentioned this but he also owns three pairs of boots so I don't know who he thinks he's fooling
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 28, 2026
We'll be keeping a close eye on developments and will update as the situation evolves — stay tuned!
- Bette WrenJul 28, 2026
Glad someone is paying attention to this stuff
- Robert NguyenJul 28, 2026
Drink Las Vegas with Morimoto and Wolfgang Puck sounds incredible but I am guessing the tickets are not cheap. Anyone know the price range?
- Marcus J.Jul 28, 2026
Talked to a few folks nearby and they had no idea
- Danielle C.Jul 28, 2026
That Trader Joe's parking lot line before Thanksgiving comment hit way too close to home. I survived it once. ONCE.
- westside_watcherJul 28, 2026
70th store nationwide and they picked Summerlin for Nevada's first, not the strip. that's actually a smart call on their part
- Fran D.Jul 28, 2026
Didn't expect to see this today
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 27, 2026
Thank you — we believe it's important to get this information out to the people who need it most.
- Gus FairbanksJul 27, 2026
Radical hospitality is just a fancy way of saying good customer service but honestly that's rare enough these days that I respect it
- Amanda_BirchJul 27, 2026
already texting my sister about this. we've literally needed a reason to get out of the house this weekend
- Kevin OsgoodJul 27, 2026
Skeptical but open to hearing more
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 27, 2026
We'll take it! Thanks for reading, and we hope it proves more useful as things develop.
- Linda MarshJul 27, 2026
I appreciate them putting this out there
- westsidemom_KimJul 27, 2026
Another Better Buzz in Summerlin is great news. The one on Sahara always has a line out the door.
- PatriciaLVmomJul 27, 2026
Going Saturday for the complimentary drinks and live music with my sister. If we happen to buy boots too then so be it
- Kevin L.Jul 27, 2026
I appreciate that they're trying to make the boot buying experience less intimidating. walked into a western store once and felt completely lost
- tom_tJul 27, 2026
Curious how this plays out over the next few weeks
- Phil GarrettJul 27, 2026
My kids have been asking to do something fun this weekend. This looks perfect actually.
- vegasnative22Jul 27, 2026
Exactly, this feels pretty familiar. Starting to notice a pattern.
- Conny Jo & Chad AuthorJul 27, 2026
You're right that there's precedent here, and that context is exactly why we felt it was worth covering now.
- tommy_vegasJul 27, 2026
That's kind of the point though lol. You sit inside the AC, sip a frozen holiday cocktail, and pretend the outside world doesn't exist. Honestly sounds perfect for July.
- Veronica H.Jul 27, 2026
People in my area are definitely paying attention to this
- sarah_wJul 27, 2026
Been wanting cowboy boots for the NFR crowd every December. This is very well timed for my life
- Vanessa R.Jul 27, 2026
the free boot shine service alone is selling me. I have a pair that's been sitting sad in my closet for a year
- Phil JacobsJul 26, 2026
Good to know, I guess
- Tom_LakesideJul 26, 2026
Ha, same at our house. What was your take on it?
- Nick OrozcoJul 26, 2026
70th store nationwide and they picked Summerlin for Nevada's first one. Honestly makes sense, this is exactly the demographic for this brand
- grumpygus_89Jul 26, 2026
July 31st is gonna be 110 degrees. standing outside for a gift bag might actually be a medical risk lol
