Fall starts with pumpkins on Grand Teton Drive. The Las Vegas Farm lists its 2026 Fall Harvest Festival for October 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31 at 7222 W. Grand Teton Drive. For families in the west and northwest Valley, the unusual schedule is worth checking before setting out.

The official festival page says visitors can expect a maize maze, food, pumpkins and squash, and farm-market goods. The selection includes specialty varieties for decorating, carving or cooking, along with fruit, vegetables, artisanal bread, jams, jellies, honey and eggs. Availability on any given day may change.

Know which parts cost money

Shopping at the farmers market has no entry charge, according to the farm. Festival entry and animal access are listed at $10 for ages 13 and older and $5 for children 12 and under; activities and concessions cost extra. That distinction matters if you are planning a quick produce stop rather than a full family outing.

The farm says all festival proceeds benefit its nonprofit Barn Buddies Sanctuary. That gives the visit a purpose beyond selecting a pumpkin. Its about page describes the animals and the sanctuary's mission; it is worth reading if children want to know why the visit supports animal care.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and pets are not allowed on the property. Those two rules may affect a family's plans more than the choice of pumpkin. Check them before inviting another household or bringing a dog along.

A calmer way to plan the visit

The published date list includes a Monday, October 5, in addition to several weekends and Halloween. The farm's general site separately lists regular Saturday and Sunday market hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; do not assume those ordinary hours cover every festival date. Verify the exact day's festival hours with the organizer.

The festival date list is longer than a single weekend, so households can choose a less rushed visit instead of treating opening day as the only opportunity. If pumpkins are the main goal, consider what size you can carry and where you plan to display or store them. If the animals are the highlight, explain the sanctuary's rules to children in advance and give them time to observe respectfully. The farm asks visitors not to confuse it with other attractions using similar names.

Set a budget in advance for animal entry, any chosen activities, food and purchases. The farm's festival page says activity and concession prices vary, rather than offering a single all-inclusive ticket. Its general information says cash is preferred and electronic payments have conditions, so confirm payment options before relying on a card.

Some families may want to prioritize the animals and maze; others may simply browse the market's squash and local food. Both are reasonable, but they are different visits. The most useful question is how much time and money you want to spend after you arrive, not whether you have to do everything.

Bring water and shoes suited to a farm setting. This is practical preparation, not a claim that any specific activity is accessible or available throughout every festival day. If accessibility or an accommodation matters, contact the farm directly before making the trip.

At a glance: selected dates October 3–31, 2026; 7222 W. Grand Teton Drive; market shopping free; festival/animals $10 for ages 13+ and $5 for ages 12 and under; extra activities priced separately. Use the official festival page for the current date list and any last-minute change.

That schedule is a little confusing at first glance. So it is only open on those specific dates and not the whole month of October right? Worth double checking the official page before you go.

$10 entry plus extra for activities and concessions adds up quick for a family of four. Would be nice if they broke down what the activities actually cost before you show up.

Good to know the farmers market part is free. I just want to grab some squash and bread, not pay $10 to walk around.

The maize maze sounds fun for kids. Weekend visits can get busy—does the farm share any guidance on the best time to arrive?
