๐ŸŽƒ Fall fun in Summerlin! Two young children enjoy a sunny autumn adventure, pulling a wagon filled with pumpkins through a festive pumpkin patch.

Summerlin's Great Pumpkin Patch returns October 15 and 16, 2026, bringing two evenings of pumpkins, animals, crafts, and family activities to Trails Park.

According to The Summerlin Council's event announcement, the celebration runs from 5 to 8 p.m. each night at 1910 Spring Gate Lane. Pumpkins are listed at $7 apiece, with a limit of one per household member while supplies last.

For busy Summerlin families, the neighborhood location makes it easier to fit a seasonal outing into a school-night schedule.

What happens at the Great Pumpkin Patch?

The organizer describes a Great Pumpkin Trail with several activity stops, rather than a single stand where families purchase pumpkins and leave.

A petting zoo and animal touch table give curious children a chance to learn about animals. Scarecrow Station features face painting, while Pumpkin Picasso offers a hands-on craft. The program also advertises a character encounter.

Families can choose stations that suit different ages and interests rather than trying to complete every activity.

The organizer has not provided a station-by-station schedule, so check the official event listing before setting expectations.

Pumpkin prices, limits and pickup details

The $7 pumpkin tickets are limited to one per household member while supplies last. This is a purchase limit, not a guarantee of availability.

Advance pumpkin ticket sales ran September 21 through October 12. Because that window has ended, Walk-up pumpkin availability is not confirmed. Anyone without a ticket should contact The Summerlin Council before traveling to ask whether any pumpkins remain for purchase.

The organizer's announcement says pre-purchased pumpkin tickets may be picked up at Trails Community Center beginning at 10 a.m. on October 15 and 16. Keep the confirmation handy and ask whether identification is required.

Do not confuse the listed pumpkin price with a blanket admission price. The published information does not clearly confirm that every activity is free, so verify any charges or participation conditions before visiting.

Where to go and how to plan your visit

Use the full Trails Park address when navigating; a general search for a pumpkin patch may lead to a different seasonal attraction.

The 5–8 p.m. schedule leaves a relatively short window for families who want to visit every station. Arriving earlier may provide more flexibility, although crowd levels cannot be predicted.

Wear comfortable shoes for an outdoor park event and check the forecast before leaving. Bring water, and consider a reusable bag or other practical way to carry your pumpkin home.

Families using strollers or mobility aids should ask the organizer about accessible routes, including which activity stations are easiest to reach. Because the event takes place in the evening, it is also worth checking where pickup lines and entrances will be located. Parking arrangements and any temporary traffic restrictions also deserve a quick check before a special trip.

If your child is sensitive to crowds or unfamiliar animals, talk through the stations ahead of time. There's no need to complete every activity for the evening to feel worthwhile.

More than a pumpkin-shopping trip

A neighborhood pumpkin patch gives children a chance to choose a seasonal decoration and then turn it into a second activity at home. Painting, carving with adult supervision, or creating a porch display can extend the fun.

For new residents, the event is also an introduction to the Summerlin Council's community programming. Families can meet neighbors and learn about activities that recur throughout the year.

Beyond the scheduled stations, the gathering gives neighbors an easy opportunity to connect during the fall season.

The animal touch table will be a hit with my youngest. I like that we can pick a few stops on the trail instead of trying to do everything.

We went to Trails Park for a fall event a few years ago, and the kids spent most of their time on crafts. Pumpkin Picasso sounds right up their alley.

Does anyone know how long the face painting line usually gets? We might try Scarecrow Station first if it fills up fast.

I wish they had confirmed whether pumpkins will be available at the gate. We missed the ticket window, so I'll check before we go.

The 5 p.m. Start is nice for a school night. My kids will head straight for the petting zoo.
